01Who we are

This website is the personal website of Dr. Monica Perna, author, mentor and Globish coach. It is operated by Monica Perna together with her company, AUGE International Consulting, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”).

02What data we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to give us through the forms on this website:

• Discovery-call application: first and last name, email, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the program you are interested in, how much you can invest, when you would like to start, your LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook profile, and any message you add.
• Contact form: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the reason for your message and the message itself.
• Speaking and podcast invitations: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the podcast, event or company, an optional link, the type of invitation, audience size, preferred date and your message.
• Newsletter: email address and, optionally, your first name and phone or WhatsApp number.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also record basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs, for security and to keep the site running.

03How we use your data

• To review your application and contact you to arrange a discovery call.
• To reply to your message, invitation or press request.
• To send you my weekly tips, only if you have asked to receive them.
• To keep this website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

04Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (for example when you tick the box on a form or subscribe to the newsletter), to take steps at your request before working together (such as a discovery call), and our legitimate interest in answering messages and keeping the website secure.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.

05Who we share it with

Your data is seen only by Monica Perna and her team. To run the website and our communications we use trusted service providers, who process data on our behalf and only as we instruct, for example:

• website hosting;
• secure storage of form submissions (such as a spreadsheet service);
• an email marketing platform to send the newsletter.

Some providers may store data outside your country, including outside the European Union. When this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

06How long we keep it

We keep application and contact data for as long as needed to follow up with you, and for up to 24 months afterwards unless we start working together. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

07Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. It only uses what is technically necessary for the pages to work.

When you follow a link to another website (for example Amazon, Trustpilot or social media), that website’s own cookie and privacy policies apply. If we add analytics or other tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct it or ask us to delete it;
• object to or restrict how we use it;
• receive a copy of it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

09Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your data to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools or services. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version.
