My story
From Italyto the UAE.
A small town near Milan, a receptionist’s desk, a big dream and a lot of courage. This is how English became my way to open doors, for me and for thousands of others.
In my own words
I grew up in Seveso, in Brianza, and languages were my way out into the world. I studied Interpretation and Translation, worked as an interpreter and translator in English, Spanish and German, and spent years in Milan as an executive assistant, organising other people’s ambitions.
In 2012 I opened my own language school in Seveso. I taught in town halls, schools, universities and for the Chamber of Commerce training agency, and I saw the same thing everywhere: smart, capable people, frozen by the fear of making mistakes in English.
In 2018 I co-founded AUGE International Consulting and took my teaching online. In 2019 I moved to Dubai, where I found the English the world really speaks: Globish. Simple, clear, human. Since then I have kept building: an academy, new companies, and two books.
Because successful people are not born. They are trained. And a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

What I believe
The things I teach, I live first.
Simplicity
The key to speaking English, and to most things in life, is simplicity. Clear beats perfect.
Courage
Fear is just energy waiting for a direction. Every mistake is a step forward.
Discipline
Successful people are not born, they are trained: a little, every single day.
Giving back
A team that is mostly women, and donations to causes like lung-cancer research. Success means more when it is shared.
The causes I support“Successful people are not born. They are trained.”

A book to keep on your desk
One of those classic books to keep on your desk as a daily working base … With great positivity, because Monica helps you understand the problems but encourages you constantly and gives you every possible push to succeed. — Giordano Sterlocchi, 78, retired.
Making a wish come true
The answer was in the book "I Speak GLOBISH!": a lesson in self-esteem that gives you a solid starting point for learning Globish and, more generally, for life; a hand that walks with you and helps you overcome the mental blocks that weigh learning down.
The English you really need
The pages read pleasantly one after another, and they don't just demystify learning English, they make it engaging and fun. … Monica Perna has created not just a language guide, but a compass for navigating global communication with confidence.
Innovation is success
Her innovative, easy, simple method lets anyone, at any age, learn English and make their wish come true. … The AUGE method is helping me realise my dream of speaking English fluently and with a smile, without hiding anymore.
A book that goes beyond English
I bought "I Speak Globish" more out of curiosity than anything else, and it was a lovely surprise! … The most important thing about this book is the priceless boost of energy and self-confidence it gives you.
From zero to 100
I was living in America and my English was zero! But thanks to her course and her advice, step by step English became an obsession for me! … Highly recommended by someone who went from 0 to 100 in English thanks to Monica.
I feel much more confident
I'm very happy with my journey in a language I had never really studied properly. Thanks to the AUGE method and the coaches who support me in every lesson, today I feel much more confident and I can talk about topics I love and about everyday subjects.
My coach feels like a friend
Fluency Formula lessons with my coaches are always really useful and fun. … After so many lessons together, I can say Katrina feels like a friend I share pieces of my life with. I'm so glad I started this journey.
Simplicity turned into a method
I took part in the "Inglese Miracoloso" challenge and I can say that the "simplicity" Monica has turned into a method really shines through. … I'm convinced the AUGE method works.
No longer afraid of mistakes
Thanks to Elena I've improved my pronunciation and I'm understanding a bit more, but above all I'm no longer worried about making mistakes.
Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience, Monica is an extraordinary teacher who makes everything very simple and exciting.
Skeptic won over in 4 days
I was skeptical I could learn anything in so little time, but in just 4 days I changed my mind!
